Click the name, and a menu appears; click Login Window, and another user can then log in as usual. (From the Login Options pane, you can also choose to display the current user by the account's short name or the account icon.)

Click the Apple logo from the top-left corner, click System Preferences, and click Users & Groups from the System Preferences window. This opens the Users & Groups window. From here you can create or delete user accounts and groups, configure your MacBook Pro to automatically login to a user account you specify after booting, etc.

I have fileVault enabled. I entered the recovery Key instead of the password and it presented me with the option to change your password but best of all I could change the user name and login as another user, unfortunately after I shut down the machine it went back to the mobile account login screen and I have to enter the Recovery Key.

Start your MacBook normally. On the Login page, enter your password, but DON'T click on Log in immediately. Press and hold the SHIFT key, and then, click on the Login button. #Tip 4: Boot In Safe Mode

Locked out of your Mac? How to bypass and reset your password to get back in. Don't freak out if you get locked out of your Mac, there's a built-in password tool for this exact problem.
